Fitness and Wellbeing in Partington

Partington has a number of services and groups to assist with general fitness and wellbeing. Below are some of the services available.
Body Maintenance (Free)
Every Wednesday
1.00pm  Advice and support from a sports coach at Partington Library and Wellbeing Centre.
1.30 to 2.30pm
group exercises session at Partington Sports village. For all levels of mobility and physical fitness. No need to book.
Our Weigh
Every Wednesday, 10am - 12pm

Partington Wellbeing Centre
Tips on losing weight, weekly weigh-ins, tasting and cooking sessions, as well as support. £1 per session, including tea and coffee.
Self-Help Services e-Therapy
Every Thursday 10am - 1pm

Beating the blues is just a click away. Access our ONLINE CBT course to help combat feelings of low mood, anxiety and depression. The service is fully supported and free of charge. Gentle chair based exercise class suitable for the over 50's at Partington Methodist Church.

Nordic Walking Groups (Beginners)
Meet at Partington Health Centre Reception every Wednesday 12 to 1 pm £1.50 per sessionLearn the technique and skills of Nordic Walking in a friendly, social environment and get fit at the same time! Poles are provided. Sessions led by trained British Nordic Walking Instructor. Places MUST be RESERVED, call Heather on 0161 826 3969.
