St Mary's Church, Partington

People's church logoEvery Sunday, St Mary’s Church meets together for worship together in word and song and to praise God. Services vary throughout the year but the consistent aims and values are to encourage one another, to serve and served, to remember the death of Jesus on the cross and to hear the Bible taught. The church offers a warm and welcoming greeting for visitors and newcomers whatever the reason that you may be there.

Children are very welcome in the Sunday morning services and a children’s area and Sunday school enable the younger generation to engage in church services at their own level. The services have a relaxed formality and all the words spoken (liturgy) and hymns sung during the service are projected onto a screen. The services last for around 80 minutes and refreshments are available after the service.
The church has served the community of Partington as the main Anglican church in the area since it was constructed in 1883. Centrally located, it is an excellent building for weddings, christenings and funerals to take place as well as to worship God.
